Our goal is to efficiently promote the local products and businesses of Kos, by organizing its presentation at the various tourism exhibitions close by the Greek International Tourism Organization stand. Our presence at the tourism exhibitions include daily events with dance groups accompanied by traditional music and local titbits and products like wine, wine cheese, sweet tomatoes, olives, olive oil, honey, etc. Our stands also function as the traditional Greek “Kafenion” (coffee-shop) thus providing our visitors and co-exhibitors an excellent service but also the possibility to enjoy local tastes and to feel the atmosphere of our island. In order to achieve the best possible promotion of the island we make use of plasma screens, showing documentaries about our island and the best places to visit, as well as large posters about Kos enabling visitors to pleasantly enjoy and discover the island. To promote the products and summer life on the island of Kos we use special documentaries, for example showing the production of honey or spoon sweet tomatoes and wine, etc. We show images of Kos’s night life, its beaches and mountains so that visitors can make the best choice about what to see when visiting our island. To ensure the island receives the appropriate media attention we organize special evenings for journalists attending, taking care that the island gets the promotion it deserves. Kos Info magazine and the Kos Info website are responsible for the organization and presentation of these events. Our main sponsors are mentioned in the home page of our website, which is the official website that the visitors of the exhibition can access and the sponsors will benefit from free promotional entry on the webpage for the duration of one year. During the exhibition company videos are played, brochures are handed out, large posters are displayed and continuous information and communication with visitors takes place.
